Single-axis robot – KP (Black) series

The single-axis robot’s distinctive modular design, featuring a dual combination of ball screws and linear guides, significantly streamlines installation and replacement processes while ensuring long service life. Compared to conventional linear-stage systems, which require careful selection of guiding and driving components, repeated adjustments and rigorous testing, and often suffer from bulky dimensions and space constraints, the KP single-axis robot series offers a cost-effective solution. It provides advantages such as convenient installation, rapid integration, high rigidity, and a compact footprint, thereby reducing both the client’s installation time and the required environmental space for deployment. The contact surfaces between the four-way equal-load ball bearings and the bearing grooves are all designed at a 45° angle.

Rotary Series – Rotary Precision Ball Screws/Keyways RBLY Series

Rotary Series—Precision Ball Screw/Spline with Rotary Function: The RBLY series rotary ball screw spline enables three types of motion—rotation, helical motion, and linear motion—using just a single shaft, thanks to the ability to rotate or stop either the nut or the outer sleeve. 1. Zero backlash in rotational direction, ensuring high positioning accuracy; 2. High-speed performance with smooth operation; 3. Low noise level; 4. Easy installation and space-saving design. Applications include horizontal multi-joint robotic arms (SCARA), industrial robots, automatic loaders, laser processing machines, conveying systems, and ATC devices for machining centers, among other equipment.

Application Scenarios for TBI Linear Guides and Ball Screws

TBI linear guides, ball splines, miniature guides, and ball screws are common transmission and positioning components in modern industry. They feature high precision and excellent stability, and are widely used in various types of machinery and equipment.

What is a TBI linear guide rail?

The TBI linear guide is a type of rolling guide. Through the continuous rolling motion between the slider and the rail, the load platform can move smoothly along the rail with high precision and ease. Compared to conventional sliding guides, the rolling guide reduces the coefficient of friction to as low as 1/50 of the original value. Due to the significantly reduced starting friction and minimal occurrence of idle motion, it becomes effortless to achieve feed and positioning accuracies at the micrometer level. Moreover, the beam-unit design between the slider and the rail enables the linear guide to simultaneously withstand loads in all directions. These features are incomparable to those of traditional sliding guides. Therefore, if a machine is equipped with ball screws and guided by linear guides, its overall precision and mechanical efficiency will be greatly enhanced. When the TBI linear guide is used as the linear guide, thanks to its rolling-friction mode, not only does the coefficient of friction drop to 1/50 of that found in sliding guides, but also the difference between dynamic and static friction becomes negligible. As a result, during operation, the bed will not experience any slipping, enabling positioning accuracy at the micrometer level. In contrast, traditional sliding guides, due to the reverse-flow effect of the oil film, inevitably lead to decreased motion accuracy of the platform. Insufficient lubrication during operation can cause wear on the contact surfaces of the guiding tracks, seriously compromising precision. The rolling guide's wear...

How to Quickly and Correctly Select Linear Motion Guides

Prioritize performance over price—meeting design requirements should be the user’s primary consideration. Only then should you seek out an appropriate supplier to obtain a relatively low price. In the mechanical products industry, especially in the parts sector, excessively high profits are rare. With the exception of premium brands, if you disregard channel factors, you can generally assume that higher prices correlate with better quality.

The principle of ball screws

1. Ball screws are actuating components used to convert rotary motion into linear motion—or vice versa—and feature high transmission efficiency and precise positioning! 2. When the ball screw serves as the driving element, the nut will translate its rotational angle into linear motion according to the lead specified for the particular model. The driven component can be connected to the nut via a nut holder, thereby achieving the corresponding linear motion. Current status of screw manufacturing: Screw manufacturing methods are mainly divided into chip-removing processes (cutting and shaping) and chip-free processes (plastic deformation). Traditional chip-removing processes include turning and rotary broaching; while chip-free processes mainly include cold extrusion and cold rolling. Chip-removing screw manufacturing refers to the process of machining screws using cutting and shaping techniques, with turning and rotary broaching being the primary methods.
