The advantage of the internal circulation design is that the nut’s outer diameter adopts a compact “circular” profile, as shown in Figure 1. Therefore, it is well-suited for machines with limited internal space. It is important to note that the screw shaft of an internal circulation ball screw must have a fully threaded end, and the shoulder diameter at this end must be smaller than the root diameter of the screw shaft; otherwise, the nut cannot be assembled.
