The MOSIONX linear guide is a rolling guide that enables the load platform to move smoothly and precisely along the rail through an endless rolling cycle of steel balls between the slider and the rail. Compared to conventional sliding guides, rolling guides can reduce the coefficient of friction to as low as 1/50 of the original value. Thanks to the significantly reduced starting friction, there is much less idle motion, making it easy to achieve feed and positioning at the micrometer level. Moreover, with the design of the coupling unit between the slider and the rail, the linear guide can simultaneously withstand loads in all directions—up, down, left, and right. The characteristics described above are distinct from those of traditional sliding guides.
