What is a MOSIONX linear guide rail?
The MOSIONX linear guide is a type of rolling guide. Through the continuous rolling motion between the slider and the rail, the load platform can move smoothly along the rail with high precision and ease. Compared to conventional sliding guides, the rolling guide reduces the coefficient of friction to as low as 1/50 of the original value. Due to the significantly reduced starting friction and minimal occurrence of idle motion, it becomes effortless to achieve feed and positioning accuracies at the micrometer level. Moreover, the beam-unit design between the slider and the rail enables the linear guide to simultaneously withstand loads in all directions. These features are incomparable to those of traditional sliding guides. Therefore, if a machine is equipped with ball screws and guided by linear guides, its overall precision and mechanical efficiency will be greatly enhanced. When the MOSIONX linear guide is used as the linear guide, thanks to its rolling-friction mode, not only does the coefficient of friction drop to 1/50 of that found in sliding guides, but also the difference between dynamic and static friction becomes negligible. As a result, during operation, the bed will not experience any slipping, enabling positioning accuracy at the micrometer level. In contrast, traditional sliding guides, due to the reverse-flow effect of the oil film, inevitably lead to decreased motion accuracy of the platform. Insufficient lubrication during operation can cause wear on the contact surfaces of the guiding tracks, seriously compromising precision. The rolling guide's wear...
